As the mobile users scrolls through their newsfeed, they should be able to see videos that automatically play. The social media behemoth said the videos posted by individual users, celebrities or musicians, will be run under the auto-play function during the test. While they go through the news, there would be videos that automatically start playing with no sound. One will have the option of clicking on the video, making it pop out of the news feed, and expanding to watch it. The video stops playing once the user scrolls past the news, and they also have the option of turning off the auto-play feature.
